In light of the recent developments around COVID-19 and the direction from the Queensland Department of Education for students to engage in learning@home work in Term 2 2020, the QMEA team has developed a number of modules of resources to support teachers and students. These modules will allow teachers, who would have normally engaged with QMEA through a face-to-face activity in Term 2, to incorporate minerals and energy education resources within their continuity of learning program for students.
Each of these modules align to learning@home topics, as set by the Department of Education and provide an opportunity for students and teachers to engage with industry representatives via virtual sessions (e.g. webinars, other interactive means, etc.).
QMEA schools who were scheduled to have a QMEA face-to-face event held for their students in Term 2 will be contacted by the QMEA team to gain access to the relevant modules.
