The Queensland Minerals and Energy Academy (QMEA) is grateful to its industry and government partners for their ongoing advice and support, both financially and in-kind, to the QMEA, our schools and educators.

Our industry partners are actively involved in school workshops, site tours, teacher professional development activities, trade and STEM camps and mentoring and leadership programs for students.

The QMEA was established in 2005 through a partnership between the Queensland Resources Council (QRC) and the Queensland Government. The QMEA’s Minerals and Energy Gateway to Industry Schools project is proudly supported and funded by the Queensland Government through the Department of Trade, Employment and Training.

The QMEA regional hubs program is an election commitment of the Queensland Government. It forms part of Improved Completions, a joint initiative between the Australian Government and Queensland Government.
