Industry & Innovation Teacher Tour 2021

A two-day program showcasing the latest technological advancements in the resources sector, while also offering hands-on workshops that step out how to implement, assess and report on the digital & design technologies curriculum.

Dates

Tour will commence at 8am, Wednesday 1 December 2021 and conclude at 3pm Thursday 2 December 2021. The tour will depart from and return to Brisbane CBD daily.

Funding

QMEA will book and pay for shared accommodation in Brisbane CBD for attendees from regional schools. Teachers from South East Queensland schools can also request for accommodation to be provided for the evening of Wednesday 1 December 2021. Bus transport while on the tour will be provided by QMEA. Reimbursement details for regional teacher travel will be provided to successful applicants upon notice of selection.

Teachers and schools will be responsible for teacher release costs, transport connections before and after the program (e.g. taxi from Airport to Brisbane CBD), meals, and any other incidental costs.
